Never was a hit, nor from what I can tell a good fit. Thurn motorsports makes a carbon Fiber one that doubles up as a chain guard. I've been pondering over weather or not it's worth it, the $$$$ has me at bay.

The one from Thurn is a rear hugger though isn't it, not the actual fender?

You're probably right though, not a hit. Vendors sell it, just say they have no pictures, so I guess you would have to assume it looks like the 5th gen.

I made my own by cutting off a few inches of the fender, and bolting the license plate to that. I cut out the bottom of the tail light and used some clear RTV to glue in a cut to fit piece of plexi-glass. It looks pretty good to me, cost was free, and it only took a few hours to do.

oh that is a tease. Why is it one of the last? Discontinued I guess? Well, at least I get an extra month or two of nice riding weather down here in the city.
    Thanks for your reply

I did the same as Douglas - sawed (Dremel'ed, really) that ugly rear OEM fender off, with just enough space to mount the OE license bracket after I cut the plate light portion off of it. All that's back there now looks to be the plate.

Very clean look, I will post pics if I can remember to do so.
