Anyone know what these parts might be?

I mentioned in an earlier thread that I just bought a used 2006 VFR from a local dealer. The last owner was good enough to bring in all his accessories, and also brought in a box of misc parts. when I bought the bike, it already had OEM luggage on it (side bags and top box). Only other significant modification was a set of frame sliders and a rear tire hugger.
Anyway, I'm just trying to figure out where this pile of parts might have been on the bike.

Those are bolts from the top case rack. And the rubber things fit in the holes on the rack as well.

 

You sure? The top case/rack was on the bike when I bought it. I removed it from the bike the evening I bought, and reinstalled the grab handles with the same bolts that were holding the top case rack on. These parts were in a plastic bag when I did the assembly/reassembly. I'll take another look at the rack and see if it makes sense. Thanks for the input.

Well, I took a look at the rack I removed and the parts I have, and I think Terc got it right. Those parts look like they could go in the rack. anyone know where I can find the Honda instructions for assembling the luggage rack? I'd like to put the thing back together correctly.

would you want to sell the top rack if you are leaving it off
