Actually, I DO know this bike.

This place is about 15 minutes from my house. I've been there on several occasions. They have quite an eclectic mix of bikes.

I think this is a great looking bike, BUT, I believe there are some issues with it. Another member on this formum, Emon from NY City, bought and returned this bike from Cycle Exchange (it was used when he bought it). It seemed to be lacking in the power department. Not the kind where you're comparing it to an R1 or Busa - more like something was "wrong". There was no low end to it.

Emon has bought other bikes from them and he really likes the place. Seems pretty fair that they'd take a used bike back.

I haven't seen Emon on the forums in a while (last post he made was a few weeks ago and he had suffered a stroke), but I'm 99.9% sure this was the bike he bought.

I'd steer clear of this one.

 

Haha! It's so good to have cyber friends, Pliskin. Geeze, I'm sorry to hear about Emon's health issue...hope he's doing all right.

Well then, it's as simple as that... there are a lot of VFR fishes in the sea and your advice will be immediately heeded.
