anyone have one of those rear fender thingys?

i understand that there is an aftermarket rear fender, don't know who makes it, what it cost or really what the proper name of the item is

anyone know waht i am talking about

most of the time i have heard them called rear tire huggers. i dont know who makes them however.

 

Check Ebay there are several for sale right now just search for VFR and scroll down. There are carbon fiber and black that I think can be painted to match your bike. They look like they mount and take place of the chain guard.

I have a 5th gen and was also looking into those "thinggies" One place you
can find them is www.superbikestore.com the hugger covers the rear tire
and replaces the chain gaurd in a single bolt on piece, the undertail will
eliminate your fender making the hugger almost a must do to road debris,
water and anything else on the road that will come up and hit the underside
of your bike or on your back. They have them in black or carbon look for
$139.95 ea. They are located in AnnArbor Mi just 20 min from me I will try to get over
there to see the quality of their products and report back.
