I've Looked everywhere for a wiring schematic and every one I find is for the non-American bikes. Those bikes have Position lights while the US bikes don't. We have the 3 wire front turn signals plus different wiring in the turn signal switches. This is the info I need.

    Thanks

there's one in the back of the Haynes manual. I'll have to take it to work to scan it. you try to google it?

The Haynes manual doesn't appear to be online. I also did a lot of searching just for the wiring diagrams. I'm sure your diagram would be appreciated by others who are trying to figure out the turn signal/running lights on the US bikes. Maybe you could take a picture of the diagram and post that online?

On my own bike, I wanted to replace my faded and worn out stock switches so I took the 86 vfr750 UK diagram, an 88-91 honda hawk US diagram plus a multimeter and my new Euro switches and figured it out myself. I've successfully tested all my wiring today to adapt some 98 vfr800 UK switches to my 86 vfr700 US bike. Why the UK version? Just to have all the extra goodies we US citizens are deprived of.

I will be adding a hazard switch/Euro flasher relay as well.

I couldn't figure out how to post the picture here so I put it in my photobucket account:

Just copy the "IMG" link from the photobucket page and paste it here in the forum and the image will show up.

Many thanks lawtalkingdude. That's a great quality image. :)

I cropped the edges as well as tweaked the contrast and made the colors a bit bolder.
