I;ve been browsing laws on importation of motorcycles, Specifically, I am trying to figure out what a honda Motocompo is even considered a motorcycle or motor pwoered cycle or some crap like that.

Seems like the lobbyist for the big companies keep making it harder and harder to import vehicles of any time.

Anyhow, the bike im looking at is 1981 honda motocompo, its a 50cc 2 stroke fold up scooterish motorcycle. I have no idea how it is classified. I guess motorcycle because you straddle it? Has a max speed of around 35kph

Now it is older than 25 years, so I think it avoids some stuff like nshta, and possibly dot, but maybe not EPA? Gotta love having 10 different organizations with their own rules.

Anyhow, if anyone can shed some light on if this is even legally importable, that would be great.

btw this is what it is
