Any VFR Riders in the GTA/Southern Ontario?

Hello!

My name is Derec and I just purchased a 1993 Honda VFR750F (Pearl Crystal White). I wish I had some pictures to post but alas...I have winterized it and stored it for the winter so it won't be until the spring that I bust it out and get her ready (and take some pictures).

I am new to VFR's as my first bike was a 1989 Suzuki GS500EK but I sure am looking forward to riding come spring time. From what I have heard and read these bike are pretty nice and will definitely be a lot better for the type of riding I do (a lot of long distance/highway riding).

Looking for anyone in the GTA or Southern Ontario area that may be interested in doing some rides next summer. I must warn though...weekends for me are usually spent near Port Colborne throwing myself out of an airplane so it would probably be more week nights.

Hey Derec - welcome to the forum! There are many VFR riders in the GTA. I used to be among them until I moved to Fenelon Falls in September. Drop by the Ontario VFR Booth that'll be at the upcoming Bike Show at the International Ctr starting on January 2nd and running through the weekend and join their forum. I picked up my 2002 last spring and had a great summer of riding. I just read a thread on here today about a ride in the works in Niagra Falls. It sounds like May 30th might be the date.

If you get any additional information about that ride in the Falls on the 30th of May please post it here. I am up in Wainfleet alot (starting May 2nd) and would love to try and get on this ride.

Hi and Wlcome! If interested, tomorrow Blue VFR is organizing ride from Hamilton (10AM) to Niagra ON The Lake . At the same time: end of May VFR Niagra Ride. 2 days: 1 on USA and 1 on Canadian side. So... what's your ride? (By the way I'm in Mississauga as well...)

It seems that we live in pretty much the same area. I'm in the King West / Liberty Village area of Toronto. Just recently traded in my R6 and picked up a shiny new 08 VFR and joined the forums.

Happen to have a garage for me to install the many mods I will be purchasing?

 

Hi Man i got a black 03 non-abs Early this year. Its been great riding it. I am kind of booked for this weekend already and cant go to far. Keep me in the loop for any future activities.:thumbsup:

 

Just bought a Silver 02 a few weeks ago, loving it so far. Added Remus pipes, PCIII, O2 Eliminator and K&N Filter so far. The bike came with Honda hard bags and a Corbin seat. Ordered the Corbin backrest for my Wife.

Looking forward to some group rides in the near future. I am in the London area.

Unfortunately I live in an apartment building and have an underground parking spot and virtually no tools. I have worked on my GS500 down there and they appear to frown on that.
*shrug*

Does anyone have any details on the May 30th ride?
- Start time/location
- Approx end time/location

Any details would be greatly appreciated.
