The old girl's slipping a little if I really get on it.

Just wondering if anyone has any bad experience with EBC clutches. They are half the price of Barnett up here in Canada.

    I'm not a racer...but I am a lard ass.

    Thanks!

I've never tried EBC. I get the Barnett because... uhh, habit?

You know, a long time ago, Barnett was the only game in town. Next time, I'll try EBC. Their brake pads seem to work well...

I picked up a barnett kit off ebay (friction plates, metal plates, and springs) for around $140 bucks I think it was. Works fine to me. The clutch lever may have a stiffer pull as some say, but I really don't notice it...it just feels more assertive with a positive action if you ask me. My hand doesn't get tired at the lights either. Maybe it's just my gorilla hands.

My clutch was doing the same thing whenever I got above 6k and was wfo on the throttle. Doesn't do it anymore.... that's for sure. I don't notice the clutch being grabby at all anymore either. It's just a smooth engagement now. As far as being a lard ass...i'm sure I got you beat. I'm 6'4 340lbs and I drive it like I stole it if the roads are in good condition. It'll still lift the front wheel too...a little anyways lol.

I had the EBC kit in my 4th gen. Was better than the stockers. Be sure to soak the friction discs in oil 24hrs before installing. Makes them much better than if you install them dry.

Thanks for the input guys...I think I'll try the EBC and will definitely soak them first in Rotella (oh no, not an oil thread )
