Guys. Im getting my 2007 VFR800 next week in the Rothmans colours. The only original Honda panniers I can get (3 box set) is in white. Anyone got any pics of what the paint scheme should be for the boxes to match? Thanks (newbie) Nick

I dont have a pic yet...I take delivery of the bike next week. Its a VFR800 S LE 2007. I thought the 'Rothmans' colours would have been 'standard'? (But what do I know!!) Will post a pic as soon as I get the machine. Just thought someoen must have Honda 'matching' luggage. The top box from Honda looks to be very HIGH on the rack...any comments on that? (I am having to pay a FORTUNE for the boxes here in Malaysia...but I'm not too keen on Givi, which I have on mt Er6n).

    Welcome aboard Nick. :welcome:

When you say "Rothman's colors" do you mean the bike actually has this paint scheme on it?

Or does it just have the standard 2007 Red-White-Blue 25th Anniversary edition paint scheme on it?

Hi...it has the paint of your second pic...exactly. Its the 25th anniversary model...so called VFR800S LE...thats exactly it. I need panniers as I will tour a lot (did 18k km's here on my Er6n last year). Im prob going to import from UK (in white) as no Honda panniers here in Malaysia. (Quote for local dealer..UKĀ£2000!!!) Not sure I like the Honda top box...looks very high...but Givi is not for me! Many thanks.

I don't think there is any specific paint scheme used for the bags on these RWB Anniversary edition bikes Nick.
Most guy's simply just color match the bags to the Pearl Spencer Blue that's used in the original paint scheme on the bike.

OK...thanks. Guess I jsut find a 'custom' paint shop here once I get the boxes and see if we can come up with a nice and simple matching design. What was 'special' on this LE model???

Lol. Sorry to disappoint you my friend but basically just the RWB paint job on the bike was "special".

Here's a pic of an RWB with matching bags I found in the photo gallery.

Well I guessed the LE may just be the paint job!! No prob's.. I saw the bike over the weekend and cant wait to ride it...(all sorts of import paperwork to get through...nothing happens fast here!). I will import the boxes from the UK then get a few 'designer' ppl to come up with ideas. (Dont like that tank protector on that pic but guess I will need something). Many thanks again for your help.

I will...but for you 'experts'...I guess it will just be a 'standard' bike...but once I get the panniers on and painted...it may be a little more interesting for ppl to see. It's a big move up for me. I had the Er6n for a year to get used to biking in Malaysia...and loved it...great in the KL traffic...good all round cheap bike...now the 800....BIG (as in I have short legs!!) step up...can't wait! Thanks again for your messages.
