    G'day
Looking at buying a 2000 model VFR with 93000kms on it (approx 58k miles I think...). Has been regularly serviced but wanted to know if there are any issues with high milage on the V4 motor?
Do they handle high milage well or should I avoid it like the plague? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers
    Tony.

Go to any Honda dealer & talk to the maintenance department. Unless they are chimps, every single mechanic you talk to will tell you the V4 in it's various forms has long been the most bullet-proof motor Honda makes. That mileage is nothing to a VFR if it's been well kept.

    KC-10 FE out...

G'Day KC...thanks for your post. I will contact the nearest Honda dealer tomorrow. The owner assures me the servicing has been regular. Just can't wait to get my V4!
    Cheers
    Tony.

Everything else will wear out at least twice on a VFR before the engine does.

Just passed over 40,000 miles this year on my 1998. Runs better than a Swiss watch!

Thanks for your post. Great to see you have the aussie staintune fitted. They are a great pipe. Sounds like the VFR just loves the km!!!
    Cheers
