I've ridden for a while but mostly functional riding, commuting and whatnot.

I live in Des Moines and looking for some decent twisties (if any exist here) in the cetnral Iowa area or maybe a daytrip to get to them.

So any of the Iowan's here, where do you go to lean the bike a little?

I'm in waukee, and for the most part you're SOL, but 169 south to missouri is a nice ride and between kansas city and St. Joseph there are tons of good roads.

One other option is the Loess Hills scenic road along the Missouri River, north and south from Council Bluffs. Not in central IA, but closer than St. Jo.
