This is the only picture I have right now. I bought them the other day for $150.00. They should be here on April 11th.

Thought I'd ask any of you '86 750 guru's if there are any tips I should think about?
Right now on the bike there is a K&N filter with a 2.4 needle jet, 122 main jets & 38 for a slow jet.

    Has anyone ran these before?
Don't really dig the fact that I'm going to have to cut the stock pipes to get these on.

F1 Cobras are cheepos, noted for a crude, raspy, tinny note and are not of the best quality; but alot lighter than stock, so your bike WILL be faster if it's jetted right.

    a crude, raspy note.....Interesting
I don't want to cut my stock pipes incase I don't like them. And for the obvious reason....to keep stock parts handy. I'm going to pull them off right now. Tomorrow I will go to the local muffler warehouse that has every muff :tongue-new: part under the sun. I'll see if I can fab my own pipes.
I did run it today outside and as of now she's running a tad rich. It gives out a slight pop once in a while on the down throttle. Figure I'd wait to get the cobras on before further adjustment.

Thanks for the opinion...all thoughts & knowledge helps.
