Another VFR in Tennessee

Intro time! The VF Hondas have held a special place in my heart for years and I've come close to buying one several times. I've always assumed I'd own one at some point. Done deal! Found an extremely nice '99 with 30K on the clock not far away, and in a moment of weakness, brought it home with me. It already has a number of nice upgrades including Staintune/Racetech/Nitron/Helibars/Corbin/Givi and more. Seems like an excellent 5th gen that's been ridden regularly and well loved along the way.

I grew up in a Honda family, my dad was a Honda mechanic during my childhood. It hasn't necessarily been intentional, but Hondas are all I've owned. Along with my new VFR, my current stable includes a 1983 CB1100F that I've had since '89, and a 1998 ST1100 that I inherited when my dad passed. I completed my first Ironbutt certified ride on his ST in 2014.

Anyway, back to business. Took the VFR on a 650 mile shakedown cruise last weekend to VIR to watch the MotoAmerica races. Great ride and didn't miss a beat! I guess it'll do. I appreciate access to this valuable forum and look forward to the ride! Thanks!
