    Just arrived this morning.

Came with the original wheels, side fairings in great condition, extra windscreen, seat cowl, and a bunch of spares...some brand new some used.

I didn't have the seat cowl on her when I snapped these pics.

This bike is in 95% perfect condition. I took it around the block and it ran perfectly. You can take issue with the re-paint scheme - red wheels - etc. but I'll probably leave it the way it is.

    Thank you, six!

One key fits all 3 locks and it came with it's tool kit too!

See the drain tubes in the one pic....wow......you don't see that very often on these older VFR's!

Yeah, very cool. Full respray with liberties (cuz it started life as an FII), but I wouldn't change except maybe the wheels. Something about red wheels just doesn't jive with me, except maybe the Black / Red Hurricane 600.

Anyway, congrats dude. Worth picking up for sure.

But don't you mean, "Another RC26 added to the collection"?

No, I got ya......and think any disdain WE may have comes from their lack of originality. Kinda normal way of thinking if you're a purist. Which most of us are.

What bothers me more are those red front blinkers.....o_O :Der::D

YES. Those need to be white.

From the direct side view they blend in and don't look at out place. EVERY other view... not so much.

    Thanks!

As to the drain tubes.......over the years, as these bikes are worked on, the drain tubes tend to either disappear all together or are misdirected somewhere other than where they are supposed to go.

To see these all fastened together means previous ownership actually cared about keeping everything as it came from the factory. Except of course the paint scheme. And even that isn't too far from what some had from the factory.

EDIT: seller just replied that he made a mistake and was thinking about his Transalp. Might have my tool kit still at his place and will check when he gets home, so please disregard my inquiry as follows... :)

Can't find the dang tool kit. I know where it's supposed to be and that compartment is empty. Seller said it's behind the helmet lock.

I asked for clarification. Any thoughts?

The fact that they are still there is amazing.

Tool kit I had was down in that deep crevice. The owners manual was under the Honda color label on the bikes I have owned.
