    Hello everyone.
I have read that Shell Rotella T is the best oil brand for VFR but I can't find it in Mexico, been asking and no one sell that oil brand, I 've using 10w40 Valvoline for motorcycles (mineral multigrade) in my bikes with no problem, ( I change oil at 5000 km) .
I found that Mobil sells a 20W50 mineral multigrade oil with JASO MA specs at a very good price, is it recommendable? The manual do not indicates that synthetic oil is recommended,or mineral or another oil kind.

The previous owner didn't change oil as frecuents as recommended, I did an oil change on february and have ride 3000 km and noted that the oil is pretty dark, I'm going to do another oil change just to clean the motor and planning to use 15w40 car oil and change it at 200km , any sugestion?

    Hola e!

Just keep using the Vavoline 10W-40 motorcycle oil. Since you can buy it local and you should have no problems with that particular oil. Besides, 10W-40 is the standard oil weight for the VFR.
