Another Newbie - From Minnesota

Well, here goes!
Hello everyone, from up here in the snow and cold!
I have been lurking here for a couple weeks and posted a couple times,
Just found out the financing went through at my credit union,
So it Looks like I will be having a 2007 Anniversary model delivered within the next couple weeks!
(I think that dealer up here still has 3 more new 2007s to my knowledge.)
I will be moving my Ninja 500 over, in the garage, until i sell it maybe in April or May?
Partial story - I am 47, and I never really rode a motorcycle until last year, when i took the MSF course, got my license, and then bought the Ninja. I put about 1300 miles on it before winter, but sort of had in mind moving to a bigger bike at some point.
What else can I say for now.... just champing at the bit to get out riding again!
And Yes, i will post pictures!

 

Thanks, i will take it easy, and I sure hope it does feel different from the Ninja!
(Not that the Ninja is bad or anything of course... :wink: ...),

Thanks, sounds good! Exactly when and where is it? Don't think I could ever imagine myself racing though.....

-EDIT- OOPS - ok, nevermind, i googled it and found the schedule, so I assume you mean the June 4 - 6 stage in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin!
Can you tell I'm a seriously ignorant newbie, even thinking that they would let me race even if I wanted to, haha! It is clear now that i would just be a spectator.
Unfortunately I can't make those dates. Believe it or not I already have something booked for that weekend.....
I have a friend in Milwaukee though, and i am planning a trip over that way maybe in July, so maybe we could meet for a ride.?... Will post updates, boy that seems like a long ways away right now.... sigh..:smow::wave:..
