    Hello everyone

Just purchased a 2002 VFR this past weekend, then found this site and decided to join in. It's my first Honda in quite some time. Last one I owned was a 750 Nighthawk that I bought new in 1997. Traded it in on a 2000ZRX 3 years later, and have gone through a succession of Kaws since. In addition to the VFR I currently have a 2007 FZ6, a 1986 Councours, and a 2008 scooter. I gotta stay of EBAY and Craigslist! LOL. Sold the ZRX this past spring, with 74000 miles on it. It was a good bike, I'm sure the new owner has enjoyed riding it this past summer.

In addition to VFR World, I am active on a few other local and national web sites and am a 10 year member of the MSTA. Most of my riding is local to Northern Kentucky and around Nashville, Tn. but I do like to travel on my bikes and have ridden in most states east of the Mississippi River. Looking forward to getting some more riding down out west next year as the MSTA national will be in Avon, Co. In June.

Was able to take a short ride of about 50 miles yesterday on the VFR, and I do believe that it is the beginning of a long and fun filled ownership. Looking forward to it and to being active on this site. Hope to met some other members in the future.

    Cheers.
    Patrick

Congrads on your new purchase! I wish they still made some nice carbureted bikes like your Connie - If one came my way, I might be tempted for the right price.

Sure thing! I did some riding with Bobcat 2 weekends agoandd had a blast. Showed me some real good roads down south of Leiper's Fork. Haven't had much chance to explore the area around the boro, but hope to in the future. Right now, I am only a part time resident of that area, but hope to become permanent in the future. My wife and I bought a house in Franklin this past summer and have been spending as much time as possible down there. We looked at many different areas in the southeast over the last 5-10 years and just fell in love with Franklin and the surrounding area. I'm sure I will enjoy the riding in the area as well. Looking forward to having the opportunity to explore it.
