Well Hell since a good friend that runs another site had the opportunity From Honda to get the press release info and photos directly sent to him, figured it easier to link it, instead of a copy paste. So with out further ado here's the link. Sorry to those that have seen it, I had not on here. and I haven't any control whats said there. ;) all though interesting to read what other motorcyclist see at as..

who cares. the bike is a heavy, ugly, shaft driven touring bike with a look that was stolen straight from BMW, not to mention, a bunch of crazy shit that tries to turn a bike into a car. can't wait to see the going rate for such a thing.

    Pros vs Cons

    Pros:

1237cc's, 44mm throttle bodies, and 12 to 1 compression (in honda terms this means BIG power, think 160 plus at the wheel, though i have heard shaft drive isn't very efficient) up from 781cc 36mm and 11.6 to 1
no mention of vtec or cylinder deactivation
pictures of bike in motion with inverted forks and radial brakes
320 mm 6 piston brakes up front and 276mm out back (those back brakes are almost as big as the 296mm's that come up front on current vfr's)
    190mm tire out back
slipper clutch (gonna be very important in a 1237cc bike with 12to1 comp)
    no more messy chain
most important... it must be fast, its RED

    :frown: Cons:
591 lbs!!! WTF this isnt what we asked for
4.9 gallons (hope you dont have to go too far)
shaft drive weight and power loss
76 degree vee angle, 28 degree crankpin (are we still gonna get that 90* sound and feel?)

maybe by the time i can afford one of these, ill actually want a 600 lb bike...

Geez that is one UGLY bike, sorry but it has too much CBR1000RR and not enough VFR. I better go get a bucket cause I'm gonna throw up:sick: The clutch/ gearbox system will be very interesting as will being semi auto etc. No wonder this thing weights a tonne:crazy:

the dual clutch trans is an option...
a regular manual 6 speed is still standard equipment.
591 lbs standard or add about 22 lbs for the slush box at 613 lbs...
