got another freaking flat tonight:mad: . i swear those farmers are throwing roofing nails on all those nice back roads. It looks like its going to take two plugs for two punctures that a total of three plugs in one tire in less than 6 weeks:eek: that is if they will fix it this time. who has the record for # of plugs in one tire?

I ran into that crap last year! Brand new Conti Road Attack with a plug in it, and I just didn't have the cajones to ride it harder than a commute to work and back like that. No shop would repair it so it was left up to me. I fixed it, but decided for my piece of mind I'd buy another new tire and be done. Luckily this one has made it to around 2000 miles with no incidents, but the warm weathers hitting, so the roofers will be out again.

do you have a repair kit you carry with you? i bought one at a show over the winter and i was wondering if its like a curse ya know. i never had a kit or a flat before, but now i have a kit,i think its kind of like im inviting trouble . but i rather have one to get me home than get my bike towed home.

Just got my '99, put about 200km's on it and picked up a piece of metal with the tire. Couldn't be fixed so a tire with MAYBE 1000 km on it is scrap.
