As many of you guys may know, Jimmy Vanderhaar and Brandon Cretu are going to the TT this year as the only two man American team. There's an effort out there now to help these fellows out, some VFRW members have already given them a few bucks to help out. Here's some links about them and if you could find your way to shoot them a few bucks, Im sure theyd be grateful

Since Jimmy V is now in Louisville, the local sportbike forum is doing this to help out (Jimmyv138 is Vanderhaar's username on LSBK)

I believe they are leaving for the TT near the end of this month, so if your situation allows, why not give them a donation!

Applause brother bear. Mr. Cretu is a fellow NESBA member and I've given a small donation so he can conquer the Mountain Course!

C'mon all, a few bucks goes a long way!

Way to support those guys Bear, not sure who else is officially sponsoring these guys other than my buddy CK at Drippinwet.com, but they are really great guys and could use a little VFRW love. Oh, wait there isn't any love for racing here, just hating. WTF did you post this up here?

Edit: Those still look like the stock brake lines on that 5g........hehehehehehehe

thanks NCB ... You're right they are good guys and deserve a little Vfrw love. Hopefully some folks here can help them out. Just go to their website linked here in post # 1 and you can donate.

Oh and shhhhh you weren't supposed to notice my brake lines have gone undone so far heeheee. For some reason every time I get some free time lately and head down to the garage with good intentions, I wind up going for a ride instead :frusty:

Thank you Bubba. I know that you are supporting Brandon and I'm sure your fellow Nesba members are too.

In conversations with Jimmy, he described how they will do around 1500 miles of practice laps alone. That's got to run into a bit of money. Heehee. He also said that it's not uncommon for the front tires to last a long time, but they shred through rear tires. The way the course is doesn't really allow for pushing on the front the way a racetrack would, just a bit too risky. Standing it up quick and getting the drive is what gets the times low.

He also related how the first thing he did when he got there was go walk Governors Bridge turn. Apparently it goes nearly unused except for the TT, is covered by a canopy of trees, and the road surface is therefore slick with moss. Yikes. The thing to do is wait for the sidecar guys to practice, they scrub the road clean. Haahaaa
