    Hey guys,
I took delivery 2 weeks ago on a new '08 VFR. The past year I have been re-orienting myself to the road on a Shadow Spirit. Previous bike was a 73 Suzuki GT550 that I sold in 1975. WOW, what an amazing machine. I would like to thank you all. I have been studying your threads for 3 months and not only did you help me make my decision to buy this bike but you gave me the information I needed to make educated purchases on accessories and the confidence to run this beast in with authority. I appreciate everyones input.

Welcome to the board! I am glad we could convince you without even prodding you directly. You should post up some photos of your lovely machine so we can drool over it!

I notice that the VFR seems to be the bike of choice for people getting back into riding.

Guess its the "does most everything well" label the bike has. Also note that most folks that have one wind up buying other bikes as well to fit the niches that the VFR doesnt.

    Welcome to the board.

Welcome, good to see another member from Little Rock in here.

My very first street bike, way back when, was a Suzuki GT250. That little two-stroke engine would scream!

    Regards,
    H.C.D.
