Am I the only one?

Just wondering, here in Missouri, we have to get a yearly vehicle inspection. It's really pretty Micky Mouse, but i digress. I went to my local Honda shop to get my '99 inspected, so that I could transfer the title, and get my plates. When I pulled in several Mechanics, and the guy who inspected it, said they didn't know Akrapovic had a pipe for the VFR. It was on it when I bought it, and honestly looks like it was made for it. On closer inspection, it looks to be the exact same can as my ZRX. Anyone else have one? Sure does sound bad-ass!

I think the cans are somewhat generic (by displacement) the only things that vary are the link pipes etc

Akrapovic did list a pipe for the 5th Gen in the past. They took it out of their line-up around the 2003 time frame. I was going to put one on my 2000 but I went with a Scorpion instead since it was nearly $100 cheaper. I have since switched to a Staintune.

I have a carbon fiber akrapovic on my 2000 VFR. Can't find any information on it and it doesn't even show as a discontinued item on their website. Nice to know they actually made the pipe for the VFR. Sounds nice, but I've only heard it on my test ride. Haven't picked up the bike yet.
