    Almost done... Now I'm done

This was a photo from two weeks ago in the "almost done" phase. I was waiting for the decal to show up. Update, I just added the finished pic to this thread.

I painted it because it really needed it. The PO dropped another one his bikes on the tank and dented it really bad on the right side. He also scraped up the left side lowers which were also in bad shape. I bartered some work and traded for this last May. I got the better end of that deal :)

The color really shows up differently in the photo. It is gunmetal and looks much more silver than blue.

Heymike, that looks sweet. I'm a huge fan of the 2nd generation. That color will definately turn some heads. Hard to believe that is a 22 year old bike. Nice work.

I think Frodus is right. That looks pretty sexy! Hard to believe a bike that old still rocks. I'm curious if the white wings you are talking about will help pull off the white wheels? I think it just might do it. Great job. Glad to see these older rides still on the road. It looks fast...

I always dreamed of my dad's '73 Dodge Charger painted gunmetal with a 440 magnum engine and some big ole tires in the rear. Smokem if gotem.

    Now it's done

I finished up this weekend. The decal, or actually more of a sticker from XtremeDecals showed up. Really liked the quality of there stuff. Had her out for the first time since October and still have the grin on my face.

It's still light out and the road is begging me to join in. Peace.
