Airbox Gasket

    I just installed a new K&N air filter after discovering a mouse nest and ton of leaves inside my airbox on my new to me 99 VFR. The directions on the K&N filter say to remove the gasket seal from the airbox before installing the new filter. Should I really remove this gasket or should it stay put?

    Yes..the same on my 6gen because the K&N is made of rudder..so mine has alittle gap but still seals
