Aftermarket fairings / paint?

    Hey everyone,

    I've been looking for a 5th gen VFR lately, and 80% of the bikes I've been able to find have had the yellow paint scheme. Not saying this is a bad color or anything, but it's not really for me.

    My question is - has anyone tried those aftermarket fairing kits on ebay with success? Or had the fairings professionally repainted? I've considered even putting an ad up to see if someone with a red bike would like to swap, but I don't know if this is realistic.

    You've been around since Aug 2007 and still are looking for a 5th gen? That is dedication baby! Where are you located at? All I ever see for sale around me are red 5th gens.

    Never used the e-bay kits, however, I would not expect everything to line up as cherry as stock unless buying from a respectable company with good feedback.

    On a side note, I think that the "Hello Kitty" panels are hella sexy and very manly! :thumbsup:
