I know my 07 RWB is beautiful as she sits, stock, except for the fender eliminator.... seems like there are so many aftermarket 'fun stuff' for other bikes, and very little for the VFR. Not looking for anything specific really, but it would be cool to maybe have a few color coordinated pieces here and there.... maybe chrome, maybe aluminum... or maybe Honda made the bike so you don't need extra stuff... just go ride the darn thing and don't worry about it! Bueller..? Bueller..? Bueller..?

As nice as it is to have ready made bolt on farkles, I have seen much innovation and excellent backyard engineering round here. I think it helps set us apart from some other motorcycle crowds that all have the same over chromed crap slapped on their rides. We can't just grab off the shelf so we get creative and come up with all new and kick ass farkles. Plus it works out good for cheap bastages like myself cause I couldn't afford all them off the shelf toys anyhow!!!!!!!!

I will second your "just go ride the damn thing though"!

The overfarkle rule is when the bolt on shit makes your bike weigh twice as much as when new, it's time to stop. 40 PSI increase in tire pressure does not help.

I'm relatively new to Sport Tourers, and COMPLETELY new to Honda's (My other rides have all been GSXR's, Ninjas, Harley's and various older Suzi's), so I don't have any depth of knowledge about VFR's in particular, but one thing I noticed when I was sifting through all of the paperwork I got from the previous owner of my bike is that what he ordered wasn't specified as VFR parts. He was ordering CBR parts, which seem to cross over to some extent. I guess it makes sense that there would be some commonality between lines from the same manufacturer....
