What color Aerostich jacket would look better with a red VFR? Black with gray ballistics, Hi Viz yellow with black ballistics, red with black ballistics, or gray with ballistics?

Obviously, it's a personal preference. But I think the red/black would look the best...

If you're looking to be seen yet not look like an emergency hi way worker, I would go with gray with red ballistics or red with silver ballistics. I like Aerostitch but I don't like their prices.

    KC-10 FE out...

I have a red VFR, and went with the hi-viz yellow/green with hi viz silver padds. I love the suit, and even have been approached by drivers at rest stops on the highway saying "wish more bikes wore suits like that, I could really see you!!"

It may not be much of a fashion statement, but if it keeps one cager from spreading me over the asphalt, then it works for me.

The red will fade over time and become pink with black ballistics. How about black with red ballistics. I got black with the old grey ballistics which was actually army green imo. The new grey looks a little better but if I did it over I'd go black with red or silver ballistics.

Well I'm going with as much white as possible, silver ballistic with a tad of gray red piping.

I'm looking at one in the future, too. I'll probably go with red / yellow hi-vis trim. Looks like we all like something a bit different. Hey, maybe a group buy...

I sold my black with red this spring and bought........

Another black with red! Picture of my fat a$$ packed into the old one is in the "show your mug" thread, page 6.

I'm a sucker for the look of red/black. On a primarily red bike (4th gen) with black accents, the reverse on the suit just fits IMHO.

For those who think a 'stich costs too much, keep in mind that it'll fetch half it's value back on E-bay when you decide to get rid of it. I bought my first one in 1995 and sold it this year (almost 13 years old) for $360! I didn't have any issues with fade, taking care of it per riderwarehouse instructions.
