On the right hand side of my engine is a small thin black sleeved cable which sits over what I believe to be a sensor, the cable is frayed & I want to replace is, is it the cam sensor ? Also I want a front mudgaurd in yellow if anyone is selling one, thanks.

A photo of the cable in question and it's overall location might help to determine its function.

Sounds like the black fibre & asphalt type protective sheathing over the wires. Every one I have ever seen has been frayed at the end. I put some brand new stuff on my Trophy's driving light harness and it is also frayed after normal use for about three years. I think it looks great. I got mine at Napa. You should be able to get it at Halfords.
