I got a new fairing kit for my 2007 VFR800A. Unfortunately, I can't find any info about this install online. I watched one for a CBR and was amazed by how much adhesive backed heat shielding the guy used. He covered the entire inner side of all the lower fairings, maybe even more.

Has anyone had experience doing this and can you tell me how much heat shielding I would reasonably need and where to put it? I will cover the whole inner areas if I have to. When I got this bike I was surprised how hot it was on my legs, which I guess is due to how the radiators are mounted on VFRs. I certainly am not interested in damaging my new plastics.

You be new it looks! Welcome! Throw up an intro thread when you can.

It is best to only have one thread with the same question (but you can have multiple questions per thread), or else it just creates confusion on the forum. Try to keep down on clutter and redundant threads asking the same questions. Also, better to post under the forum your particular generation VFR.

    Thanks boss.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Thanks also for the boilerplate posting advice, at least that is what I assume it was since I have posted 4 completely unique threads with unique questions and in each I included my vehicle info. Any advice on the heat shielding? Take care.
