My old Joe Rocket mesh jacket has leather on the arms and it is sweat rotted.
So I found a similar one on Craigslist for $20, near new condition, and snagged it.
The arms fit around my elbows is a bit looser than I would like to keep the armor in place.
The snaps on the arms only have 1 position, no adjustment.

The pocket is not big enough to stuff another piece of armor. Both jackets have the same basic armor.
I tried putting the foam armor piece in a sock, the sock wanted to keep it curled up, didn't work.
Thinking about cutting a piece of milk jug and putting it on the outside of the armor, inside the sleeve pocket.
Maybe inside a sock to cover any sharp edges. Thus taking up the extra space so it fits closer.

Short post long. Any thoughts on that? I'll crash and burn and die for sure, right?
Maybe you have a better idea.
Maybe you have the rain liner for this thing and don't need it.
    $20. Score! :)

The best I did when swapping armor from one jacket to another was to cut it to fit the new armor packets.

I've had to trim several body armor upgrades also.

    Use the original as template.

Wish I could trim the armor to be slightly larger. :)

Tried it out Sunday. Fit is pretty good. I could stand to trim the knee padding larger too.
