I want/need to adjust the rear shock on my 04.

What do I need to do (besides taking off the seat) to get to it and then adjust the rear shock? I would like as much detail as possible please.

    Thanks,

    Rob in Tampa

You need a special wrench for the rear shock. You should find the tools pouch under the seat under the rear sub frame. You do not need to make adjust from under the seat.

Using the appropriate spanner wrench while bike is on center stand makes it easier.
