I just installed a set of eBay adjustable levers. They seem great but it will only start in neutral or if I back the adjuster to almost factory position. I like adjusted all the way in so only a few inches of travel. Just wondering if there is any way to correct this thanks.

Sounds like the clutch switch is not quite engaging. I don't think this could be easily moved, so perhaps you could make the inside of the lever stick out a little more, e.g. by drilling and screwing in a small screw so the head engages with the tip of the microswitch? Or maybe a blob of solder in the right spot?

On my set, the first position that it will engage the clutch switch is 3.

Yeah, mine's the same way. You could build up the switch area with something if you want it to work, like Cadbury suggested.
