Hi, owner of a 6th gen VFR here, just wanted to post this in case someone might need it.

AT 48000 kms I had my stator rewound up to OEM standards. After installing it in the bike, the voltage reached 14.84V when idling and over 15V when accelerating.

My mechanic and I didn't give it much importance.

Nevertheless, the ABS light came on after this installation when I surpassed 5k rpm (only in fourth, fifth and sixth gear). In this sense, the voltage in the circuit was probably causing the ABS module to malfunction and thus, show the flashing light on the dash.

After this, I've decided to change my R/R to a SH847 from impex japan, which is a great page to source it from and I've asked my mechanic to improve the wiring by increasing it to 10AWG.

Oh yeah, I didn't think of it as an electrical malfunction because I previously had a bent rotor/disc, which made the bike brake intermittently. I've decided to change all the rotors in the bike as well.

    Greetings from spain :)
