Aaargh...shocks dead!!

Got the exhaust on and loving the sound and feel, came out to the garage yesterday and there was a puddle under the bike. Looked all over for the leak and it's coming from the new shock!! My Penske shock is leaking, lucky for me I kept the OEM. It is under warranty so I just need to send it back no cost to me. Just sucks I want to ride not change shocks and ride..........

Did you buy it new? Very odd for it to be leaking, unless it was damaged in shipping. Was it leaking from the main shaft or remote reservoir hose?

 

Leaking from the main shaft and it was new I have about 500 miles on it. Inspecting it last night after the swap I can see a tare in the shaft seal. It's boxed and ready for shipment. I'm sure it's just a fluke and I'm happy to say the the OEM isn't that bad.
