A question on starter valves !!!!!

    For example.....lets say I find another 2000 or possibly a 5th gen of any year and turn the starter valve screw in all the way clockwise(counting clicks as I go ) and transpose those values to my 2000 vfr and have it work?
    I am losing patience with my sytem and losing the will to fix it .
