A much brighter day !

It rained on and off today. It was kinda cool too. CLoudy all day to be sure. My shift at work was supposed to be 08:00 - 16:00 But I worked 07:00 - 19:00. ANd I don't get overtime any more!

There was construction just about at every turn coming home on the bike. The dog barked like hell at me when I got home. I think I over cooked the corn on the cob cause it was not tasty at all.

BUT CLIFFORD OLSON DIED TODAY

This is truly one of the brightest days in British Columbian history.

Man, what a scumbag! Not to start a huge controversy, but this is why capitol punishment is sometimes a good idea...

Like you said, not to start a controversial debate, cause I am not a believer in CP personally but I find I am at odds with myself when I think of him and a few others. They should bring his body back to BC and give him an appropriate burial in one of the manure pits at one of the local dairy farms. But then he would taint next years crop of corn.

Hey maybe that is what happened. Corn is part of next years organic matter.

 

I read about the guy and couldn't agree more. He got off easy. You involved in the investigation of any of those murders? Sounded like there might be something more than just the well founded hatred for this scumbag.

 

Not directly involved with that one. It was quite early in my career, but the back lash that the RCMP took for paying his wife $100K for him to disclose where the bodies were was a bit much for any of us to take. The thought of paying for this turned my stomach but if that maney was not spent, he would have roamed the streets for one hell of a lot longer, maybe until he died, and continued on raping and murdering kids.

I do have one that involved the murder of a new born that torments me but it had nothing to do with Olson. I won't get into it on an open forum becuae it is gut wrenching.

 

Whatever he got, he got off easy, the world is a better place!
