    Yeah, its true.

I wanted to change my air filter today. This is what I found:

Pieces of nuts, tortilla chips, and droppings. When I took the top off the air cleaner box, the filter was stuck to the underside. When I pryed the filter out, these pieces fell from on top of the filter to where you see them.

I am assuming a mouse or rodent had been dragging food in through the air inlet ports, and hanging out on top of my filter. My Filter is covered in fur/hair.

I vacuumed it out, but WOW. Think of all the fur and junk that got sucked into my motor. This is nuts. Literally.

Blagh. Damn rodents. I say make a solid line of glue traps around the bike. Keep an eye out for droppings around the bike from now on.
    Blagh.

I went to take my sister for a ride a few summers back.... When I pulled the bike out I noticed a family of mice living under the tank. I used a shop vac and cleaned out all the debris I could find. My fuel gauge was working intermittently because the mice chewed the fuel sensor wires half through.

Anyway, I proceeded to take my sister for a ride up to my friends house and back. On that ride I did proceed to go over 100 mph for thrill sake ... the ride was about a 50 mile round trip...

When we got back into my driveway... a baby mouse climbed out from the bike and ran away. The little guy survived what must have been a hell rid for him.

Years ago I was moving from MN to Alaska and had driven for 2 days pretty much non-stop. Was in northern Canada and decided to get the oil changed in the car...had a local garage do it and then I took it to the car wash. As I was spraying the car down near the hood, here a mouse pops his head up from behind the hood. Shocked the crap out of me. Good thing I didn't get cuaght at the border for transporting livestock over international lines. I felt bad for the mouse...goes to sleep in a nice warm engine compartmetn one day in MN and ends up getting sprayed out intot he wilderness in Canada :)
