So I took a decent ride today with the wife and some friends. I was observing some things about the bike while doing it and when I got home I did a little appearance clean up. Now remember I just traded my 06 cbr1000 for the vfr. 1st thing noticed was when my wife climbed on and she said the seat was heaven. Score! Next was at points where I was hurting on the cibby I was still great on the viffer. I read a lot of gripes about the accuracy of the fuel guage, but mine seemed right on. The 1st notch dissapeared at 41 miles. Right now I'm reading 1/4 tank at 119 miles on the tank. I am now terribly annoyed with the 1st & 2nd gear restrictions. I got home loving my bike more than when I left and finished scrubbing in the tires this ride. I stood there and stared at the bike and decided to minimize the fender a little. I think I looks good.
