You might like it. You might not. I just wanted to show what the bike looked like with the silver parts replaced by matte black. Blacked out the shield while I was there. Thought the shield was too much since the black made it look big. Just got done putting the rear hugger and seat cowl on and i think it evened out the bike nicely. Sorry for the phone pic. It was all I had at the time.

Well, I'm not sure. I don't love the new bike's plastics so much. I may like it better the way you have it. The tail section looks better with you pipe and cleaned up fender for sure. I almost wonder if the rims should be black now, but then that might be too much...

already talked to someone about black powdercoat. I was kinda wondering that myself. Thats why some extra sets of eyes help. Gonna be a job though. Wheels, swingarm, pass pegs and rearsets. The swingarm is gonna be the biggest bear.

Sorry man I like the way the original double fairing picks up the rims and the back of the bike. I like the silver original. It would be very ballsy to make the move to black out the rims....but it does tie the black together on all three fronts.
    Cool look.

It looks good as it is. The wheels set off the bike. Black wheels would be to "Darth Vaderish" IMO. Unless that's the look you want.
