I was suffering and came upon a good read on the 98-99 VFR that I haven't read before, so in that I thought just maybe a few here haven't read it either. I might add too as just a warning it's part of a compairo with a certain Duc so you will need to scroll down to get to the VFR part, still worth the read. I even found out about a couple things I didn't know. So pick up your favorite brew and enjoy. http://www.2wf.com/category/s17-bike-tests/c63-1998-bike-tests/
Cool. Funny, the one thing that you have been complaining about this article praises...The linked braking system! I have to say I have absolutely no issues with it and actually like it when trail braking. As it says, "...because the trick brake system better balances the attitude of the machine." This has been my experience but as they say, "to each his own". "The linked braking is near perfect and I’m betting that most riders will be hard pressed to notice the system exists even if they’re hard pressing on the brakes. I have to admit that we avoided testing it on a steep grade down a dirt road, but this is a streetbike after all. The brakes were just plain great and the bike can be trail-braked into turns with complete confidence. Actually, because of the linked braking the bike can be slowed down hard with more confidence because the trick brake system better balances the attitude of the machine. All-out sportbikes only have a bit more hard braking certainty because of lighter machine weight and broader suspension setting possibilities."

I'm glad they clarified why my bike is named an "Interceptor". I love riding around intercepting everything on the road then going on to the next victim. I couldn't have done that if I had bought a VFR like they have in Europe. Nice article, thanks for sharing....; )
That is funny OOTV.. they say praise it , yea they would back then. I suppose if one is use to it, all is fine, just Pfff, it's the one thing that wasn't needed IMO. So yea, I can take it, as in this case I have for now, mind you it ain't too bad once you get use to how it acts, For me it's not necessary is all. Over all the article gave me some new insight to what else was done that I hadn't known of. I can fix the brake thing, so all is still very good.
