Yeah, it'll run strong but not for long......

Engine internals, cooling system, clutch were not designed for forces or loads much beyond stock power.

Wow, I always suspected Honda went really cheap and the VFR was a thrown together bucket of bolts that would fall apart easily. What are they good for, maybe 10K miles before the stock motor implodes?

Hey! 10K is a lot of miles. I would never buy a bike with 10k. I always sell my bikes at 9,950 miles.

Hey guys. Just letting you know that a 6th-gen kit is in the works right now, and since I am combining parts between kits, I can hopefully drop the price of this kit by a few hundred dollars. Unfortunately, the Rotrex supercharger itself still takes up the biggest chunk of the price ($2k's worth), so it's not like I can go much lower due to the complexity of this kit.

We have had several customers getting over 170hp @ the wheel with no engine failures, so I'm pretty sure the internals can handle it. As long as you use your head and don't ride around at redline, there's no reason for the internals to take a dump. Of course, if you slam it to the ground, take it to the track, and do repeated drop-clutch launches, I cannot guarantee anything -- this kit was not designed for that kind of use. However, if you ride your bike realistically, there's no harm in running it through the gears, as this kit 1) does not increase the redline (reciprocal forces are greater than combustion forces at this power level), 2) bypasses the boost under part throttle conditions, and 3) only reaches peak boost at redline.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.
