So my EU VFR had a full system installed by the previous owner. It's a Simmi exhaust (No I hadn't heard of them either). But the metal work is beautiful, it's very well built.

The owner then had the end can shortened.

    My noob question is this.

Does having a shorter end can affect back pressure and fueling etc?

Its my first bike so whilst I don't think there are any issues cause by this I've nothing to compare it too.

I'm not really looking a fix just curious as to what effect the shorter end can has.

I dont have the experience to advise you but if she's running fine dont worry if you like the sound. Mine's had new stainless pipes but the original silencer is still on which is mint. And it sounds great to me i often wonder why people swap cans for a better sound, when my helmet is on and you pick up speed whats the difference in sound
