!986 VFR 500 F Motor

    Hi folks,
    I looking to find a running 1986 VF 500f motor. Does anyone have any leads. I recently bought an entire bike just for the motor and went through the trouble of installing it in my bike only to find it was garbage. Makes a racket from the bottom end. I want to spend no more than $500 including shipping & I'm in Seattle.

    Try finding a VF500 engine cuz Honda never made a VFR 500.:stung: Chances are good that if you'd removed the oil sump and/or cut apart the oil filter, you'd have seen evidence that the engine was shot.
