I have a drip from one of the float bowls I want to try to spray some carb cleaner directly into the carbs, is there a way to move the fuel tank out of the way without disconnecting anything besides removal of the back bolt?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Yes/no

Yes, the fuel tank can be propped up by removing the rear bolt and raising the tank.

No, you will not gain access to the carbs, they are in the airbox and the top has to be removed to gain access. To do this, the tank has to be removed.

    Sorry.

If a carb is overfilling causing the drip, gas could find it's way into the cyl and then into the crankcase diluting the oil. BAD!!! I'd pull the carbs and replace the needle valves and check the floats to be sure they still float. Keep a check on your oil. If the oil level rises, you are getting gas into the crankcase.
