    Hi, new to the forum....
I just purchased a '95 VFR750F. I am re-learning the joys of older bikes.
Right now I am troubleshooting a recently defunct R/R. That should be delivered by tomorrow, and then I will begin verifying the rest of the system: checking ground connections, looking for shorts, verifying the stator, starter, etc.

Beyond the electrical troubleshooting and refurb, i am also curious about what people on the board have done with the rear tail pieces on the 4th gen machines. The front and mid fairing pieces are GREAT condition, while the tail pieces have suffered stress cracks. The previous owner put reinforcing fiberglass on the inside. But some of the tabs are broken. Short of rebuilding new tabs, have people redesigned any of the panels with better success than mother Honda designed?
