Does anyone one know where to obtain the goofy tool to adjust the pilot jet?
If I could get them out while the carbs are on the bike, I'd just file a slot in 'em for a screwdriver.
Just picked up a VFR from a guy from about 6000' altitude differance and need to adjust the carbs. (It acts like one carb has had the screw back way out.)
Beige smoke at idle that clears off idle and the pipe tips very sooty. Plugs dry and black except cylinder #2, which is somewhat wet and black around the electrode.

    TIA.

That's sweet, way better looking than the one Honda uses, Hmm $90 thou I've been thinking about doing mine, thing is for the set up you also need a tach that's able to detect a 50 rpm change after you have the initial settings in place. cool to know though, thanks

Second that on the Motion Pro tool. They make good stuff.

You already have the 50 RPM change detection tools, RV - they are attached to the sides of your head!

We could all pitch in and buy one, then when one of us is done with it, send it to another part of the country, making sure we all sign it before it goes and...

Thanks for the MP tool link. I didn't see it when I went through the catalog!
I found the Honda tool number and it is the same price. Think I'll get the MP as it has more adapters. (Already had the flat screwdriver one from doing most any other bike I've ever worked on!)
