So were getting the bike back together (we as in me and my dad, mostly my dad, i work alot) and im gonna keep you guys updated with the progress and pics from it, ill try to get as much as i can, but the build is pretty close to done already but i do have some pics...

how she looked before i laid her down
    [IMG]

    and now the damage:frown::frown:

broke the right mirror off, and broke a piece of the windscreen off
    [IMG]

the worst right hand cowl completely cracked in alot of places
    [IMG]

rashed pretty good, broken mounting tab, and broke off the right peg
    [IMG]

    busted the turn signal
    [IMG]

Had to replace both forks they were bent pretty good (scored a nice set on ebay for $75)

    and now....
    SHES NAKED :shocked:::drool:

    new two brothers muffler
    [IMG]

cut the catalytic converter (expansion chamber) and made custom piping
    [IMG]

also would like to add that this thing is a whole nother machine now, the converter had to be restricting it, this thing feels so different now...

    before the sanding, and fiberglassing
    [IMG]

    mounting tab gone...

    now fiberglassed and sanded
    [IMG]

    tail fiberglassed into one piece
    [IMG]

    much stronger with the reinforcing
    [IMG]

upper right cowl fiberglassed and filled, still needs sanding
    [IMG]

upper left cowl, still needs sanding
    [IMG]

    fender fiberglassed
    [IMG]

    needs filler
    [IMG]

    v-piece in primer
    [IMG]

    exhaust heat shields in paint
    [IMG]

tank ready to go in our professional paint booth
    [IMG]

    first couple coats
    [IMG]

glued the piece onto the windscreen for now....

not bad mileage on a 91
    [IMG]

thats where were at as of now, still need to track down some mirrors or a right mirror, would like to find some different mirrors considering cbr mirrors but they would need modifying, also need a windscreen....

If you need a windscreen still you can go on Ebay and look for a dude in Hong Kong selling them for our third gen bikies. I bought mine for around $10.00 amazing right, great fit regarding holes and chit. Nice job

Glad you found use for the tail parts we met up for. Looks fantastic. We gotta hook up and ride when I'm not building or painting.

The nice thing about our fairings is that they offer some protection to the bike and are pretty easy to repair or replace. Good job.

With the fiberglass repairs, did you use polyester resin, or epoxy resin? I know that sometimes is makes a difference, having done some boat glass repairs. I have some issues with my fairings, and would like to fix them this winter, so any help on what to use to glass them is of great help! Thanks!!!
