Is there an easier year thats more modern or I guess question should be whats the easiest to install on my 86 any years after 91 to present whats the best option fir me

Don't molest the '86 man, it's a piece of Honda history. Just try to find some clean stock replacements. Try Airtech-Streamlining, they have some really nice reproduction pieces in their product line.

To answer your question though, I've never seen 3rd generation ('90-'93) fairings on a 2nd generation ('86-'89), but I've seen 2nd gen plastics on a '92 before. It did not look good.
