Not exactly sure which forum to post this in, so if it needs to be relocated, please do so.

My buddies '90 VFR750f was laid down last month and got banged up pretty good on the right side. He was following traffic on the way back from a camping trip North of Prescott and some jerk pulled out in front of the car he was following. They checked up, he braked and the back end went sideways as he hit the front brake harder causing it to kick him off and the bike went into the car while he slid into oncoming traffic and was run over by an SUV with oversized tires. Thankfully he was wearing the mesh jacket and helmet that I sold him just 2 weeks earlier (he had no jacket before) and it protected him, only having some abrasions and bruises on his left leg and elbow.

The bike, however, needs some TLC before it's rideable again. The front fender needs replaced, the front brake lever, the right foot peg, and the rear cowl with the tail light and signals will need replaced as well. The main and lower cowls are pretty bad and will need to be replaced. Also, not sure if his seat is OEM or not as the rear cowl that was on it is aftermarket and didn't match the seat he has.

He asked me to see you anyone on here may have some parts handy (mainly the fairings and rear cowl) that he can get cheaper than retail. The little stuff like the handle and peg he's not worried about, but the rest is pretty pricey.

Any help would be appreciated. He's looking to start restoring it within the next few weeks.

It's easier to find a mermaid riding a unicorn than it is finding used 3rd Gen plastics in decent shape. Hope he is able to get it all sorted out.
