8th gen. muffler weight????

Anyone know exactly what the stock 8th gen. muffler weighs? It looks like it would weigh about 35#. If so, it's gotta go. I like quiet bikes but not heavy mufflers. Thanks.

 

According to my good quality, digital bathroom scale, it weighs exactly 10.8 lbs. A carbon fiber Delkevic with the dB killer in would weigh about half, I would guess, and still be pretty quiet. (not the short 9" ones of course...those are louder)

 

I think the cabon fiber shorty is 3# and the ss is about 5. I just put on the ss shorty this week definitley louder

DriverDave is right, when I changed mine it weighed in at 4.96 kilos with the clamp which is 10.93 lbs.
